Erik: The thing is, she's completely fine in MEAN GIRLS, but yet she's just awful in everything else. I don't understand. Had this been cast with someone else (preferably someone who actually took their clothes OFF while stripping), I think this film would have been slightly more tolerable. Oh well... I went to see this in the Cinema and bought the Blu-Ray when it came out. So I guess needless to say I enjoyed the film. Or maybe I'm just a Lindsay Lohan freak! IKWKM has a very strange vibe about the whole thing. I don't mind the vibe, but something about the movie just didn't sit right with me. Perhaps that the train-wreckish-ness you were speaking of.

Glad to see someone writing something positive about this film. It has become something of a guilty pleasure of mine and I'm not afraid to admit that I thoroughly enjoyed it and indeed Lindsay Lohan in it. It reminds me a lot of those giallos that also can be quite gaga but nevertheless stylish and strangely haunting.
